02 — Information collection and usage
To provide a functioning service, Print Line collects information you give us directly, which may include:
- Name
- Mobile number
- Personal email
- Work email
- Shipping and billing addresses
- Optional details such as social media handles, birthdays and anniversaries
We also collect payment information in order to process orders. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers; transactions are processed securely through external payment gateways. For verification and accounting we may store bank transfer slips as PDFs or images.
Customer-submitted artwork, layouts and designs are stored as customer assets so that reorders match previous runs.
We use this information to:
- Process orders and deliver products
- Provide customer support
- Improve our products and services, including through analysis of page visits and time on page
03 — Children's privacy
Print Line does not knowingly do business with minors. Some of our products may be intended for children or made in relation to children, but we deal directly with adult customers only.
04 — Third-party sharing and disclosure
We do not disclose your personal information to third parties, except where required by law or compelled by a court order.
05 — International transfers and compliance
Your personal information may be stored on servers located overseas, operated by providers selected for their security posture and compliance with international standards. Print Line works to international data protection standards, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), except where Maldivian law mandates otherwise.
06 — Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, and for as long as our legal, accounting and tax obligations require. Artwork and production assets are retained so reorders can be produced to match, and are removed on request.
07 — Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to admin@printline.com.mv and we will respond within a reasonable period.
08 — Security
Access to customer records is limited to staff who need it to do their job. Documents shared with customers — quotations, work orders, proofs and delivery notes — are issued as single-purpose links that expire, rather than as open pages on the public web.
09 — Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services change. The revision date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
